Kaziranga, Assam

Software that understands the Kaziranga season

Almost nowhere else in India has a demand curve this severe. Kaziranga National Park is open to visitors from roughly October until late May and closed through the monsoon from June to September, when Brahmaputra flooding shuts the safari routes. A property here does most of its year in about seven months.

How Kaziranga fills up

  • A concentrated season from October to late May, built almost entirely around safari visitors.
  • Effectively no park-driven demand from June to September, while the park is closed for the monsoon.
  • Bookings that cluster around safari slots, so arrival and departure days are far less evenly spread than in a city hotel.

Which channels matter here

Booking.com and MakeMyTrip carry most of the season here, and direct bookings matter more than usual — a returning wildlife guest often books the same lodge again, and paying OTA commission on that is avoidable.

A season this compressed makes the commission arithmetic sharper: every point given away in peak months is money that cannot be made back in the four months the park is shut.

What working with us looks like in Kaziranga

Two ways round it. With Setup & Consulting we build the brand, the booking site and the listings, and hand it over in your name for a one-time fee. Or take the whole platform on a subscription at ₹2,999/month per property and run it yourself, with the same channel sync and direct booking site.

We work with properties across Kaziranga and around it — Kohora, Bagori, Agoratoli, Bokakhat and elsewhere in Assam.
