hostsync.in is operated by Dhriti Holidays, trading as HostSync, based in Guwahati, Assam, India.

We only collect what you give us, plus a small amount of anonymous usage data:

• Demo and enquiry forms: your name, phone number, and optionally your email, property name, property type, city, room count and whatever you write in the message field.
• Client registration (/register): the same contact details plus billing information needed to invoice you.
• Contact taps: when you tap a WhatsApp or phone link on this site we record that it happened, which button it was, and the page you were on. This is anonymous — it contains no name, number or message, because tapping the link hands you to another app and your identity is never shared back with us.
• Technical data: your IP address and browser type, as recorded in standard server logs, and rate-limiting counters that stop the forms being abused.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site, and we do not buy or sell contact lists.

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo — this is the reason most data reaches us at all.
• To provide and invoice the services you sign up for.
• To understand which parts of the site actually generate enquiries, so we can improve them.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse of our forms.

We do not use your details for unrelated marketing. If we ever want to send you something you did not ask for, we will ask first.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with services we need to operate, and only what those services need:

• Telegram — new enquiry notifications are sent to our own team chat so we can respond quickly.
• Our hosting provider — the server that runs this site and its database.
• Payment providers — only where you make a payment to us, and only the details required to process it.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Enquiry records are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Client and billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Anonymous contact-tap counts are kept indefinitely, because they contain nothing that identifies anyone.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner — see below.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also withdraw consent for us to hold it at all.

Email connect@hostsync.in and we will action it within 30 days. There is no charge for this.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS, admin access to enquiry records is password-protected, and passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not keep data we do not need, which is the most effective protection available.

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores a small amount of data in your browser for things that only work that way — an admin login session, and remembering the app-install prompt has been dismissed. Nothing in that data is shared with anyone.

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
